Positive: it's ok for transit, but it's more of a wedding location, not necessarily a venue for a vacation per se.

Negative: cleanliness is something hard to find nowadays in these types of venues.

Positive: More of a manor than a castle. Even still, quite nice inside and the restaurant food was quite good. Unfortunately there was plastic in the breakfast burrito though. The spa was very average (jacuzzi was almost cold), but the massage was really good and reasonably priced. Skip the spa and just go for a massage.

Negative: The silver room says it had a living room, but it definitely wasn’t. Need to review the listing as this is misleading. Staff were hard to find, but generally quite friendly when found.

Summary: Nice building but not a castle, not worth the cost

Positive: They gave me an upgrade to a better room and brought dinner to my room with great cheerfulness. The maintenance guy helped with a suitcase repair with warmth and attentiveness.

Negative: The village is a little dull. But the country drives make up for it.
