Summary: A few things to know about this cabin: -- This is a very rustic rental. It was relatively clean and semi-comfortable, but it’s decidedly not fancy or elegant. -- The pool is nice and well-maintained. The deck surrounding the pool is not, and you will want to wear shoes on it (one of our party got a half-inch splinter from the weathered and cracking wood and ended up at urgent care when it got infected). -- The beds may remind you of camping -- think a well-used four-inch foam mattress on plywood -- and are about as comfortable. -- There is a paucity of overhead lighting, but an abundance of standing and table lamps. Unfortunately, many of them don’t work. -- There is no trash service, so you will need to take your garbage and recycling to the nearby dump and pay a minor charge. This is not a big deal, unless the prior tenants decide to leave a large garbage can full of their rank, rotting trash next to the front door, which happened to us. We notified the owner upon arrival, but it remained at the corner of the house, where we had dragged it, during the full week of our stay.

Summary: This is a grand old house in the woods with modern kitchen and bathrooms. The living areas, bedrooms, and deck and pool deck were spacious and very comfortable. Easy drive into Woodstock. Owner was gracious, responsive and delightful. Reasonably priced. We hope to come back very soon!

Summary: Beautiful property surrounded by trees and with a pool. Good location close to Saugerties town, restaurants and Woodstock/ Kingston. As veteran renters in this area we prefer a property manager that is more available.

Summary: One of the reasons I chose this property is that it has 3 real bedrooms, each with a king bed (some that can be separated into twins), as opposed to so many places that say they can sleep "6" but that involves sofa beds etc. It is a good-sized airy home that comfortably fits a group. The pool is beautiful and heated. The surrounding woods give a real sense of seclusion and privacy. We had a lovely stay
