Positive: Location is excellent, you can explore a lot of the main sights, museums, and areas just walking. Very close to dozens of good bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, local shops etc. Customer service is 10/10, responsive and helpful. They also help with airport transfers if needed (at no higher cost than a local cab). Well equipped with kettle, dishwasher, some olive oil and condiments, and enough kitchenware to cook small meals. Labels with instructions on appliances like heating. Effective heating. Very good soundproofing for external noise.

Negative: Internal soundproofing is practically non-existent, this can be normal in these renovated buildings on Madrid, but you can hear everything within the building. There are many notices asking people to be aware and considerate, but obviously not everyone is. In studio 303 we could hear everything from next door, and they were up until early hours of the morning. Not a lot that staff can do, and in fairness they did say we could have let them know at the time. There are construction works outside , the external soundproofing is really good, so this is not an issue but there were workers on scaffolding right opposite so we needed to close some blinds for privacy at times.

Positive: location - Cava Baja street is so nice and lively, metro not far away, good good and drinks on the spot. The place was clean and comfy, with a nice touch of an old building.

Positive: The property is warm during winter and there was almost no need for us to put the A/C on , very cozy and the location was amazing and even though it’s very close to the centre of Madrid it’s more calm and easier to enjoy the character of the neighbourhood. Everybody was very kind to us and especially Elena who reached out to me since we booked the place and answered any questions I had .
