Stunning views of Cayuga Lake from the 42' x 15' deck, living room, dining room, office, and 4+ bedrooms. Picnic table on deck seats 10-12 people. Lots of privacy on 5.5 acres with 275' of beachfront with dock and changing shed. Two miles south of Taughannock Falls State Park and located on the Cayuga Wine Trail but only 10 minutes from Ithaca, NY, 20 minutes to Cornell University and Ithaca College. One king bed master bedroom, 3 queen bed bedrooms, 2 sofa beds and one double futon in the queen bedrooms on lower level. A 65" UltraHD TV is in the living room and 50" HDTVs is in each of two bedrooms. A den with a queen sofa bed can serve as a 5th bedroom. Paved driveway to the door. Very private at the house and on the beach.

Summary: The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Very spacious and comfortable. Area was very private and quiet. Again exactly what we were looking for. We had 8 adults staying and even when it rained we enjoyed just relaxing inside. Nobody felt cramped. The view from the deck is outstanding. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fished off of the dock every day. There is s lot off attractions like wineries, breweries, shopping. We went hiking to Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock falls. I can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our "camp". We are already looking to book for next year.

Summary: My extended family and I rented this house and it exactly what we were looking for. We were a group of 12, ages 2-72 and the house had more than enough space for all of us. Beds were comfortable, the house was clean and it had everything we needed. We loved the deck and the kids spent hours fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. We also loved having the big yard for the kids to play in. I will definitely be renting here again. We loved everything about it!

Summary: My wife and I rented Karen's house from October 2015 through April 2016. Our only regret was leaving just as the leaves were coming out and the lake was warming up. We had a great Christmas and Thanksgiving - filling the bedrooms with family. The inside is furnished very nicely. The new deck has a great view of the lake and the grounds. (My only caution is that if you rent in the winter, prepare for snow - the driveway is steep and you'd need to set up snow removal beforehand)

Summary: Karen is a great host. This private house is in a great location, near wineries, Taughannock Falls State Park, Cornel University and Ithaca College. You can drive to the door of this large updated house, with plenty of room to spread out in. The well-furnished interior and the roomy new deck have a great view of the lake. The gradual beach is perfect for kids and water sports. We enjoyed our stay last summer and look forward to returning this year.
