Positive: Good combination between a private hotel room and access to a well equipped kitchen with oven, stoves and what else might be necessary. It was clean and appeared to be quite newly furnished with free parking spaces in the yard behind. The sign says the parking lot is for people living there and guests, which includes those staying in the Central Guest House. it is about 1 km walk from the Cathedral through mostly quiet streets.
Negative: There is a key box, and it may be difficult to find, if you don't read the instructions.
Summary: Nice place to stay in Stavanger.

Positive: The room was in very new condition. I liked that it had a private bathroom. It seemed like it had been recently renovated. Amenities are complete, with a kitchen on the third floor and a coffee corner on the first floor. The washer and dryer are in the basement. It's a short walk to the city center. Parking is available. However, for those arriving from the airport by bus like me, the closest bus stop is Fiskepiren, but the path is quite steep and might be a bit difficult to drag your luggage around.
Negative: There's nothing I particularly dislike.

Positive: In my opinion this place just beats any hotel. I had the best sleep in some time, everything I needed was there.
Negative: Nothing really. Location was further from the center but still walking distance

Negative: Parking space, it’s too difficult to park 5 cars and may not be able to drive out if you are in the hurry. It’s better to park aside the road if you want to park during 16-08 , it’s free

Positive: short walking distance to town like 8 mintues. everything is new, comfy bed, sheets...everything is spotless clean. got a kitchen fully equipped, tea and coffee. as someone else said, it smells paint as of our stay, there was still work being done but all in all, no biggie. enjoyed our stay there and will come back.
Negative: nada.

Positive: The guest house had all new furniture and facilities. The kitchen was big and stocked with all utilities. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Also has access to washing machine and dryer
Negative: No issues. The car park is a little narrow but with a small car it’s fine. The place is still being renovated and areas smelt like paint.
