Summary: My husband and I were on an anniversary getaway weekend and wanted to stay along the Nelson 151. We found Mimi’s cottage on Vrbo and it sounded perfect. Her place did not disappoint. The cottage is charming and the setting is beautiful. It’s just as described on the website. Mimi is so kind and accommodating and is the perfect host. Additionally, the location is ideal for visiting all of the attractions along the 151. I highly recommended this booking and plan to stay again in the future.

Summary: A charmingly decorated little cottage overlooking paddocks with horses and million-dollar views of the mountains. It was peaceful and relaxing, close to so many amazing sights and experiences. Mimi is a thoughtful and gracious host and I cannot wait to visit again! Close to the Skyline, Blue Ridge Parkway, Charlottesville.. Conveniently in the middle of wine country with dozens of local wineries plus distillieries, a few cider houses and even a meadery or two! So much history and fantastic antiquing, some really good food, and let's not forget the orchards. <3 Such a lovely weekend.

Summary: If you are looking for a peaceful place, this is it! Mountain View’s, countryside, and simplicity make this a great place to escape. The owner is wonderful. She has thought of everything to make your stay pampering and comfortable. I will never forget her kindness and friendship! I personally enjoyed the serenity of sitting on the porch, spending time with the horses, and walks in the countryside. The area offers many things to do if you choose to go out and about. This truly is a hidden gem!!
