Summary: We were looking for a single family house to accommodate three teenagers, a small child, my husband, and myself that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. We aren't fancy people-we look for practicality and this place fit the bill. Everyone slept comfortably and even two of the teenagers had their own rooms. The basement rec room was a huge hit with them-they loved the ping pong table and Hot Shot basketball game. Overall, the house was fairly well kept, although it does show its age, but we didn't mind. (We come to TC for the surrounding area and landscape, not a fancy house!) We didn't spend time in the yard, but the yard is huge and there's even a basketball hoop on the side of the house. The kitchen is very roomy and the table has room for 8. A couple of things to note-there is no dishwasher and the house is near a busy road where trucks go by at all hours of the day. So, if you're the type who needs silence when you sleep, then this may not be the place for you (unless maybe you sleep with a fan). Overall, I recommend this place and would definitely consider staying here again.

Summary: The home worked out very well for our family. Everyone could have their own area and the living area and kitchen were large enough to hangout together.

Summary: We stayed here to run the Bayshore Half Marathon and it was a nice stay outside of the busy Traverse City. Cozy, country home with plenty of wildlife in the backyard! Plenty of room for large families or groups of friends.
