The ideal location in Powell River! This adorable and super clean 750 square foot house is just a minute walk to the Westview marina and ferry terminal. Right in the core of the Marine Avenue downtown business area, you are steps from some of the best dining and shopping Powell River has to offer.
The Quaint house features all the tech amenities you might require including high speed internet, satellite television and a USB quick phone charger/extension cables. If you are a foodie and more inclined to cook than watch the cooking channel, the kitchen will delight! It's fully stocked with quality kitchen equipment. Many charming decor elements warm the spaces. An accent wall and headboard features barn board hewn by the owner's father over 70 years ago! Two of the bedrooms are outfitted with 'reimagined' art deco bedframes done by local furniture artist, The Fiddleback Shack. Linens are luxurious in super soft bamboo and guests have a choice of pillows. The beds are made up with feather pillows but may be changed out for synthetic filled pillows of various firmness levels. The bathtub/shower has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion..and if you forget your toothbrush, no problem. We have one under the sink for you. A snack basket welcomes you to tide you over until you can make it to the grocery. You will also find a few beverages in the fridge. We have fantastic water in Powell River so your daily 8 glasses are no problem!
Our linen turnovers are comprehensive after each stay so you can 'rest assured' every sheet, blanket and quilt is freshly laundered for you.
The Quaint House is stocked with several outstanding products by Melaleuca, a world leader in making eco-friendly products. They formulate using biodegradable and naturally derived ingredients.
You will be staying in the historic city core which means on weekend nights there can be the occasional noise from late night restaurant and bar patrons when those establishments close. Oh wait..that might be you! :)

Summary: Walking distance to great cafes, fresh scallops from the fisherman and a nice ocean front park. The unit was spotless and super well equipped with everything you need to cook almost anything. Felt like being home. In the summer the deck would be lovely.

Summary: My wife, mother in law and our 6 month old stayed here for a few days in October. We loved the location. Walking distance to the ferry, local shops, restaurants and trails. Would recommend this location if you’re wanting a clean, quaint, dog friendly house. Priced right. Had all the right amenities and items needed for our stay. Thank you!

Summary: Our three sons and one of their girlfriends really enjoyed their stay. It's walking distance to all the restaurants and stores along Marine Ave. They said they were looking forward to staying again in the warmer months so they could enjoy the outside space.

Summary: Cute house. Tastefully decorated. The two decks are nice to hang out on. Nice bedding and comfy beds. Conveniently located close to Marine Ave and the grocery stores, gas station, etc are <5min drive. Some things to note: the fridge door sticks, it took a very long time to do laundry (3+hours), and the house does get quite hot inside with the summer heat. (There is a portable a/c in the livingroom but it was too loud to run when people were sleeping).

Summary: This house is a beautifully kept property, with many comforts for users. Beds were comfy and clean; extra pillows. Lovely patios (2), with comfy seating, beautiful trees and vines.
