Positive: Beautifully renovated, wow! High quality furnishings, very comfortable bed, clean and nice building.

Negative: Breakfast was very simple - just croissants, bread, jam and yogurt. Not much fruit, no option for eggs etc. We didn’t like being asked if we wanted our room cleaned. It comes without saying that when you pay for a hotel, b&b etc that your room will be cleaned. Being asked, made us feel guilty!

Positive: Château de Callac is a gorgeous wine estate and working vineyard located in the Graves region of Bordeaux. I spent 2 wonderful nights here before heading to the city center. The home itself, is modern & sophisticated yet warm and inviting. The surrounding grounds are breathtaking, and the wine itself is incredible. I highly recommend participating in the winery tour & tasting if you are staying at the property! Breakfast is also delicious, beautifully displayed, & plentiful. LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST - Emilia is the heart & soul of Château de Callac!! She is a phenomenal host & one of the kindest people I have ever met. Emilia went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as possible, and I will be forever grateful for the level of hospitality she so graciously provided during my short stay!!

Negative: The only downside, if I had to pick something, is the internet connection. It is incredibly strong in the kitchen, but a little spotty in certain bedrooms & the living area. However, please DO NOT let this stop you from staying at this magnificent property!

Positive: The hostess, Emilia, was super friendly and helpful! The place is very beautifull and good AC without any noise. Nice common spaces and outdoor terrace.

Negative: The mattress of the bed was too hard for us.
