Positive: Lovely Chateau and comfortable room. Owner was concerned as we travelled without hiring a car but we were fine with local buses, walking and an occasional taxi, if you don't like walking then yes a car would be needed. Great location and pool was lovely too. Very friendly dog at the property
Negative: Not free shuttle from airport as bookings.com front page suggests.

Positive: Beautiful chateau in its own grounds. Owned and run by the occupier who wants you to make yourself at home during your stay. Very pleasant and sociable. Love the building, warm, comfortable, and spacious. We arrived late in the evening, instantly felt at home, and had a very relaxing night. The host made time to chat with us in the morning, very welcoming, and we enjoyed sharing stories over coffee in the morning. This is an authentic property we enjoyed its unique qualities. The hosts obviously work hard to maintain it.
Negative: There's not much to mention A little hard to find, we used Google maps on satellite view it showed the chateau location in relation to where we were. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room too be able to make a drink.

Positive: Great place! The owner is a very friendly helpful guy who speaks fluent English. The place is difficult to find and Google maps was not much help. It's an interesting location on the edge of the suburbs but the hotel itself is on a beautiful estate of woods and grazing lands.

Positive: The breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was cold, probably because the host asked what time we wanted breakfast and we said 9.00 am and then when we arrived he said where were you at 8.45?The host was brilliant when we had a battery failure on our vehicle, he went out of his way to drive us into Limoges to source a replacement battery, which we really appreciated.
Negative: We received a frosty reception on arrival, and the host said that we were not booked! We were asked to park our motorhome in some trees although we had requested car parking for it at the time of booking.All in all the place was overpriced in opinion.
Summary: Disappointing for our 46th wedding anniversary treat.
