Positive: Down a very long drive is this charming mansion sitting on several acres. It has a pool that wasn’t open while we were there. We could see donkeys and horses from our room which belonged to locals who had leased grazing land. The room and bathroom were quite large and tasteful. We ate at the chateau, the food and service being excellent. The dining room was smaller than most which encouraged socializing and led to an interesting conversation with some other guests. Having lived in England previously, the owner speaks English very well. Enjoyed our stay.

Positive: A lovely surprise ! Beautiful property respecting nature! Peaceful, calm and relaxing. We had dinner which was really excellent and is a real must! Our room was fantastic with a great king size bed. Lovely hosts. Very refined and a real breath of fresh air.

Positive: Tranquil location surrounded by greenery, plenty of parking, felt like being a country house guest not a hotel. Nice breakfast in a beautiful classic room. Big room with high ceilings, heating provided and needed in May!

Negative: No road signage so easy to miss the narrow entrance road past some rough "gatemen". Wifi is hit and miss, mostly miss. Once you have booked you are told payment is cash only, hmm. Count your change carefully
