Summary: The room was excellent and very comfortable, with stunning views of the valley below. What stood out the most was the generous and warm and professional staff from beginning to end. They were welcoming and made the chateau a very welcome destination after a long drive.

Summary: What an amazing chateau! So beautiful. We had a turret room which was grand. Did the wine tasting; had amazing dinners cooked by the incredible chef. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want from cheese, salmon, meats, muesli, fresh yogurt, Eggs, Fabulous breads and jams, whole box of honeycomb. Cannot recommend enough. Only disappointment was it was too cold to swim in the beautiful huge pool.

Summary: It has always been a dream of mine to stay in a real medieval chateau. We had an exceptional experience! Not only is the chateau absolutely beautiful, the staff and food was superb! They are all so friendly and accommodating. They go over and beyond and I would recommend a visit to everyone! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Summary: Our stay at Château de Mercuès was fantastic. We stayed for one night and swam, dined, drank and slept wonderfully. The staff were helpful, friendly, knowledgable and discreet. I cannot speak highly enough of all of them. The pool area was build in the 60s and although maybe showing its age slightly, was charming, providing sunbeds and parasols The evening service at La Dueze (on-site michelin starred restaurant) was impeccable. The food and wine were some of the best I have ever had. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable and well equipped with tea-making, wi-fi and small minibar. The wine tour is a must. The cellars were immaculate and a testament to the care and dilligence of the staff thoughout. The hotel is one of a kind. A genuine castle on top of a hill with some of the most breathtaking views I have ever experienced.

Summary: The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The decor was very old and tired and the air conditioning did not work - no matter what the wall machine said. The worst part was that there was no shower in the bathroom. Only a bath with a hand held (no not attached on high). The restaurant, on the other hand was exceptional
