Summary: Beautiful property and helpful and friendly staff. I woke up each night around 2 am cause it was too warm and couldn't figure out how to use the AC, but I cool the room by opening the front door. But I never asked the front desk for help. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Prepare to be amazed by the beauty of this place.

Summary: Really enjoyed the heated pool even though the weather was chilly. Room in the turret was compact but had a lovely view of the Loire. Dinner was excellent and staff in the restaurant and hotel were attentive and charming but relaxed. Decor wasn’t to our taste - furniture and fabrics were all a bit nouveau but that wouldn’t deter us from staying there again

Summary: We greatly enjoyed our time in Amboise and staying at the Chateau de Pray. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Laura is a treasure! The property is everything you imagine it will be taking you back to the time of kings and queens. But yet, modernized enough for the comfort that we all want in today's times. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed a hike through the forest and the view of the Loire river is perfect. The Michelin star restaurant set in the limestone cave is wonderful as well. We traveled with our 9 year old son and we all had the best time ever. Will stay here again on our next trip to the valley.
