Positive: We loved staying in the rooms in this chateau, the warm welcome excellent breakfast and booking that was suggested and made for dinner for us in the village, one of the best meals of our journey. We would definitely go back on another trip as we drive to Italy every year.

Positive: Beautiful Chateau in a very quaint village that allowed us to walk to dinner. Host was so helpful with ideas and reservations. Well positioned to cover Chablis wine region as well as Abbeys like Fontenay and Vézelay. Also gave us a lot of historical insight into the Chateau and the area. Very nice breakfast with wonderful touch’s that raised the bar.

Positive: There are not so many places you can find, clean like this. Practically you could eat from the floor. (I did not try 😉) Matthieu is a very friendly host, who knows to tell you everything you ask for and more about this beautiful part of Bourgogne. The breakfast which is included, is perfect and the bread is from a price winning backer in the village. I gave up my diet for the homemade jams and cakes. We only spend 2 nights, but the dinner at Le Table restaurant (Around the corner and scrumptious ) and the perfection of chateau de Ribourdin are making plans in my head of coming back next summer.

Negative: I know I would had got everything i asked for at breakfast, but it might be an idea to give guests a choice between sweat and cheese. With all your perfect homemade jam and cakes I became sugar addicted again 😁 It was worth it.
