Positive: This is a charming chateau with great ambiance. The restaurant and cuisine were delightful as was the pool.
Negative: The property is a little tired with some furniture worn and the bathroom is a little outdated for the price.

Positive: The property is beautiful. Our room was large and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and lovely views across the lawns. The indoor pool is like swimming in a chalk cave. The restaurant is exceptional, as is the staff.
Negative: Paper cups in the bathroom. A minor flaw.
Summary: We had a perfect two days in beautiful countryside, close to Vezelay.

Positive: Beautiful location in the French country side - when you arrive you are just blown away with the gardens and beauty of the Chateau. Could not ask for a better start to our holiday.
Negative: The food options are limited and for a 5-star I would expect something for in-room dining. When we arrived we were also made aware of a EUR20 car park fee - I think this is so unecessary - rather charge EUR20 more per night but this is not the first words you want to hear when you arrive at this amazing hotel.
