Positive: Great welcome and hospitality, fantastic house and rooms (air conditioning from the flore was also great). with great decoration, quiet venue, great pool and south exposition, wonderful view and very nice high quality product breakfast. On top of it the very nice service and advises from Caroline. Few guests makes it very relaxing. Close to Lourmarin, and great privacy. And excellent diner with fantastic meat and sauces by Caroline’s husband.

Negative: We can hear a little bit the road down the property.

Positive: The setting is fantastic and the property has been refurbished to a very high standard. The hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them, it has a lovely family feeing to it and you feel instantly at home. The pool is a lovely temperature and probably one of the best we’ve ever had. It has a limited number of rooms so it always feels intimate and not like a hotel. A short walk into Lourmarin.

Negative: Only 2 small items. 1 it has no air conditioning and whilst the rooms are cool it would have been nice to be able to drop it a few more degrees. 2 the pool is about 150m from the road and you do get some road noise from the traffic, it’s not terrible but it’s also not silent. Maybe most people wouldn’t notice it but we live in a very quiet road so it was noticeable for us. (I did say they were small items !)

Summary: Great hosts and a superb place to stay. We will be back.

Positive: Amazing position and beautiful place with very good taste level

Negative: The owners Caroline and her husband are very hospitable. I arrived very late at night and they had a perfect dinner prepared freshly for me.

Summary: It was just too short. Loved everything.
