Positive: The house is fantastic. We had the place to ourselves because we had 3 of the rooms. It is very spacious and in a wonderful location close to vineyards and about 1.5 miles from the actual city center. The area is beautiful to walk around and see all the vineyards. The hospitality was great. Gaelle was super nice and breakfast was wonderful. Note that it is a bed and breakfast and you could be there with others. It was a wonderful experience and wish I could stay longer
Negative: It is not that I did not like but there were no keys to the actual house, just our rooms. But it was fine.

Positive: A beautifully renovated property. 5 minute drive from St Emilion. Gael was a delightful host, friendly and efficient. Really recommended , Excellent breakfast too
Negative: Conversation from the lounge below our room could be easily heard. However this didn't affect our sleep!

Positive: We received a very warm welcome at Château Vieux Clos Saint Émilion, as well as excellent communication from the host, who accommodated our arrival time when we were running late. The whole space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, cosy and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and powerful and the breakfast was excellent - including freshly cooked eggs, pancakes, yoghurt, pastries, cereals, fresh juice and good coffee. Our dog was accommodated and there's a lovely outside area to relax or walk around in. The area is very quiet but it's not far into town. We were the only guests staying at the time, so were lucky enough to have the whole space to ourselves.
Negative: The only problem was that we arrived a day late (our fault) and didn't get to stay longer.
Summary: Very comfortable stay in a beautiful, welcoming countryside oasis.
