Positive: The staff are exceptional. Cecilia and Ariel helped me to book tours and showed me around the area. Nubia cooked delicious food. It is in a remote location so it isn’t fair to rate it as a hotel in a big city. If you want peace and quiet and to hear lots of birds you won’t be disappointed. If you were hoping for lightning fast internet and constant electricity then perhaps this area is not for you. However if you are looking for an experience where the staff will find a solution despite not always having these things then this cabana is wonderful. They have a whole community behind them. Bring sturdy water shoes as you will get wet walking to the village and scrambling over rocks to get to the lovely beach beyond. Lightweight quick-drying long sleeved T-shirts and trousers were very useful too. A little Spanish goes a long way - don’t be afraid to ask!

Negative: Nothing! It was a great experience.

Summary: A very peaceful stay next to a non-touristy village.

Positive: Very kind and helpful people. Locals with a big network, they can help with organizing all kind of tours. Fresh fish caught directly at the beach in front was cooked for our lunch and dinners. Very delicious
