Positive: The room size was good.. and the property is spacious. That's all
Negative: - The shower water was literally dripping. There was almost no water pressure at all, and when we called the staff, we were told “that’s the pressure.” - We were shocked to be charged 400 THB for a towel just because it had lipstick stains on it. We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels before and never been charged extra for a soiled towel. - Breakfast is very basic and honestly not worth paying extra for. It’s à la carte, they pack everything away sharp at 10 AM, and even if you show up at 10:05 AM, they expect you to buy breakfast separately.
Summary: Not recommending, there are plenty good stays. Definitely can skip this

Positive: I rent the room without breakfast.
Negative: Chiangrai is in the season of PM2.5 dust, as high as 200+, and there is no air purifier in the room! I carried the air quality meter, the pollution in the room is the same as outside.
Summary: Disappointed! I should ask about air purifier before.

Positive: This is a large secluded hotel made up of different blocks at the side of the river with a lovely large swimming pool, which seemed to be occupied with Military Personnel at the base nearby. Our bedroom was spacious with a large bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool and river. The room was very clean with toiletries provided and a large safe.
Negative: I am sorry but the breakfast was disgusting, small & very limited choice, luke-warm with hardly any meat or fish content in the dishes. The fruit juice was vile as was the coffee. There were three members of staff each day who only cleared away the plates, the rest of the time they were standing by the door on their phones - more training & supervision needed. I bought some muesli to be able to have something to eat. Most of the staff throughout spoke very little, if any English and did not acknowledge you. The other residents were up extremely early to go for breakfast and rang each others doorbells (throughout the day) which were VERY loud and seemed to ring in all the rooms. We went to the restaurant for lunch & struggled to find staff to order, no-one else in and food very expensive with small portions. The only bar was in the foyer had no one there & closed by 8pm. The walkways around the hotel were very dirty and covered in silt and grime as were the lift in our block. The small gym had 3 machines out of use. The photos look very impressive however it was not lit like this, the fountains were on for a very limited time and the grounds at the back looked like they were being worked on as lots of soil - the place has lots of potential and needs this channelling. There is absolutely nothing going on here which is really sad. It is quite a ride into town with absolutely nothing nearby in the way of food or convenience store. There is no security and anyone can walk into any of the three blocks (without walking through reception ) and be straight into a room if they so wish. Only cold water running in the bathroom sink.

Positive: The staff are great. They are really helpful with requests. Very clean hotel, great room, extremely spacious. The hotel is in a very relaxing area, secluded hotel but still within a very close proximity to the main areas and all attractions Overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
