Positive: Remote, isolated, quiet in a beautiful setting. Everything inside was brand new and immaculate. The kitchen and bathroom were top rate. There was a lovely outside terrace for having drinks and a table for outside meals. The owner was extremely helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants. A first rate experience!

Negative: Like many rural properties it was challenging to find and drive on some narrow mountain roads was a bit harrowing. Be sure to get a vignette for driving in Slovenia or you can end up with a fine like we did.

Positive: The welcome from Jani and Doris was very friendly. The did everything to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They had a lot of tips on places to go in Slovenia. The house was very very very clean and the garden was perfect. The location is wonderful if you like the mountains and the peace at 1000m altitude. We could live there for the rest of our lives... We absolutely loved it, and Jani and Doris to :-)

Negative: It's not cheap but worth it.

Summary: Perfect location, very beautiful house, very friendly hosts.

Positive: The chalet is located in a picturesque valley, in one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia (Triglav National Park). It is very near the trails and lakes. We loved how the owner paid attention to every detail and created a true place of haven for vacation and relaxation. We look forward to visiting again soon.
