Positive: We were looking for a quiet getaway and we were not disappointed in the slightest! The location is simply amazing and offers breathtaking views on the valley and mountains. The chalet is well equipped and cosy, our host Peter was very helpful and welcoming. The place has a hot tub overlooking the valley and the mountain peaks! It is also pet friendly, we were happy we could bring our dog along.

Negative: Everything was amazing, nothing to complaint about at all.

Positive: The incredible views. The communication with host. What a truly exceptional place to find. This is our second stay at the Chalet. We have experienced heatwaves and snow. A truly magical place i will think about forever. Peter took us and our teen boys sledging with Charlie the dog. Thank you for everything.

Positive: Wonderful views. Very clean and nicely decorated apartment. Good kitchen facilities with some food supplies including coffee, tea, oil, rice and spices, though it doesn’t have a microwave (which is true for many Swiss holiday apartments). Has a washing machine. One can get a taxi from the Wengen station that takes you close to the apartment. Or it’s a 10 minute walk from the Wengwald train station on an uneven terrain with some small steep sections. A very nice host.

Negative: Difficult location for a mobility impaired person as the terrain to get inside the apartment after getting out of a taxi requires walking a short distance and is pretty uneven and steep. Also, be aware that like most Swiss holiday apartments, there is no microwave or dryer.

Summary: Wonderful stay. Not for a mobility-impaired person.

Positive: The location really is second to none. Be aware there is no car access. The train up makes it so special.

Negative: Nothing. Could have had more comms about hot tub. We were left to find stuff ourselves on third day. And it's chargeable so expected a bit more. Very minor gripe as everything was so great
