Summary: This is a really great and very spacious villa. Ample space, also for the skis and boots in the garage on the ground floor. Very nicely decorated with wooden elements. It is located next to the main road, in between two ski bus stops (2 mjn. walk) and near a big supermarkt (Spar). The village is a 10 min. walk. Wifi works fine. Free parking near the chalet. We had a great time here. .

Summary: This was a good sized chalet for our family of four. It was clean and had a good layout and was in a good location... the supermarket just a few steps up the road and Meribel a 10 minute walk (we ended up walking most of the time as the bus was crammed daily). I’d suggest 2 minor improvements to the owner. 1. Give a clear address so future renters can find the property. Like a previous reviewer we had trouble finding the property and had to manually walk the streets to try and find a house that matched the photo. 2. Create welcome book which gives basic info (wifi details, bus information etc) - or at the very least print a card that gives wifi details as would have made life much easier. Other than that I’d recommend the place - we would certainly return if visiting Meribel again. Thanks

Summary: Great place, great weather, fantastic skiing! The house had everything we needed and easy access to village and lifts. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: My friends and I stayed in this chalet in March. The chalet itself is charmimg, lots of old reclaimed wood, a very spacious lounge, underfloor heating a log fire (wood available at the spa supermarket). Location is good although a little bit away from the main ski area, the bus stop with free bus service to the main lifts is about 50 m down the road (to the right) and the bus takes around 5 minutes to the lifts. Walking into Meribel centre takes about 10 mins up a bit of a hill. Christine was extremely helpful a number of times on questions and requests that we had. Finding the chalet proved tricky for our driver so the area the chalet is in is Mussillon just before you get to Meribel Centre, it's just off the main road D90 on a little side road on the left called Chemin du Four Spa supermarket is about 5 mins away, well stocked but a tad expensive. Smokehouse pub just over the road. Couldn't figure out if there was a lift in walking distance that you could take instead of the bus, my guess is the Morel chairlift is accessible but still quite far away and up a few hills. All in all a lovely chalet with excellent hosts - highly recommended

Summary: The chalet was convenient to the town being a five minute walk and the ski lift bus just over the road. The bus went frequently up until 10am then every half an hour. We loved all the quirky architectural features in the chalet as it is a renovation and not a new build (I think). It has a great double oven, gas job and large fridge freezer. The three bath with shower over ensuites were lovely and there was lots of hot water for all of us (a family of five). There is an amazing supermarket a short walk up the road and a selection of really good restaurants, we tried Thr refuge (twice- best pizza ever) Kikis - more than amazing steak and great atmosphere, and l’igloo - great for families). The boot room was fab with boot warmers and a washing machine and plenty of room for coats etc...The only reason we’ve marked it down to four stars is the proximity to the main road from the front balcony and we had a few issues with load club goers outside at 3am in the morning a few times. Also we found the beds hard and pillows even harder!
