Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Contemporary, spacious property presented to a high standard. Village location convenient for ski buses and supermarket.

Negative: Arrived Saturday evening with 2 young children to be informed by the host that all local shops were closed until Monday. Only option to obtain essential supplies was via a bus to the next village the following morning. A welcome pack with bread and milk would have been a nice touch. As a family we unfortunately did not feel particularly welcome, and was made to feel like scolded children when we inadvertently misunderstood the ‘house rules’, or walked on the floor without removing our shoes. I have rented many holiday homes and this was my least favourite and regrettably I could not recommend the property.

Summary: The property was superb but the brusque atmosphere left us feeling disappointed with our stay.

Positive: Perfectly designed and furnished house. Siemens appliances, Jura coffee machine. Ski room with shoe dryer in the basement Nice and cosy fire place Strategically located between all main ski resorts in the area. Zell am See 15-20 min, Saalbach 30 min, Kitzbühel 30-35min Supermarket 300m Free parking in front of the house for 3 cars 3 Toilets and 2 bathrooms were OK for our group of 10
