There’s no need to cram the whole group into a small hotel room - give yourself the space and privacy you deserve at our stunning mid-century home. In addition to the main house, we have a charming “casita” (Studio Apartment) which has an additional sleeping space (Sofa bed), Bathroom sink and shower and the laundry room for the property. The casita is 6 steps from the house by the covered outdoor breezeway. And the backyard of this Chambers Bay vacation rental boasts a BBQ grill and patio furniture. Bringing a car or an RV? You can park for free in the driveway.

The main house contains 3 bedrooms: one with a King-size bed, one with a Queen-size bed, and a cozy bedroom with a full bed. Each bedroom has ample storage space (so you can unpack and really feel at home!), sunny windows, and classic PNW decor. Any day is a great one when you wake up here!
Also in the main house are two bathrooms (one full bath with a shower/tub combo and one powder room with a toilet and sink) with towels and toiletries included for your convenience.
In the casita, a ridiculously comfy couch unfolds into a Queen-size bed, perfect for two more guests. The casita also has its own toilet, sink, and shower.
In addition to the sleeping spaces, our homes common spaces include a spacious living room, a modern kitchen, and a backyard perfect for letting the kids run loose or savoring sunset cocktails.
The kitchen comes equipped with all of the appliances and cookware you’d need to whip up a gourmet feast - a full-size fridge and freezer, a gas stove, a wall oven and microwave and a dishwasher - plus dishes, wine glasses, and utensils. When it’s time to eat, pull up a stool at the island or take a seat at our retro dining table.
Make your way over to the living room for some serious relaxation - Choose from TWO big couches , put your feet up and watch a movie on our flat-screen TV, cozy up to the fireplace, or just admire the outdoor scenery through the huge living room windows. The entire house has super-fast WiFi for streaming your favorite shows or catching up on emails.
And when the weather’s nice, indulge in some R&R outside in our backyard. With lush greenery and colorful plants, it’s a little piece of paradise out here. We recommend picking up some local produce and grilling up a delicious dinner on the BBQ. Since we’re all about convenience, we have a washer and dryer available for your use in the casita.

Summary: My family stayed here for a week while my son played an amateur golf tournament at nearby Chambers Bay. We loved the home, the property and the location. The home is modern eclectic, which multiple entrances and large windows in the living room looking out onto a natural landscape. With a long driveway entrance, the house is well set back from the road and gives a sense of seclusion. The location, a few minutes' drive from Chambers Bay and University Place downtown, was super convenient. Shanna and Dani were great hosts and we got the sense they were sharing their home not just renting a property.

Summary: This house was so welcoming and cozy. Perfect for a Pacific Northwest Christmas. Also, owners were very accommodating when we had to have a late check out due to a rare Tacoma snowfall of 5.5 inches and all our shuttles and uber rides cancelled on us.

Summary: We had incredibly high expectations for the property given the beautiful photographs and description. Dear Potential Guests - IT IS AWESOME. Truly a unique property that made our stay in Tacoma amazing. Breakfast by the gas fireplace, or on the deck under the canopies or on the patio. Then croquet in the garden - during the day and at night (with the garden lights). Hosts were very responsive and helpful and checked-in at the right times. Would definitely recommend this property.

Summary: This property was more than what we expected. It was very clean, comfortable, unique, bright, and just great feeling. The backyard is so inviting. The front and back yards have beautiful flowers, plants and cute touches all over - be sure to walk around to take it in. The owners added so many nice and warm touches to the place, it was one of the best VRBO stays. They checked in with us and were very accessible. We regretted not meeting them in person, they seemed so nice and we wanted to thank them in person. We will definitely stay there again if it’s available.

Summary: The property is as warm and inviting as you see in the pictures. There are so many thoughtfully considered details that allow you to completely relax and feel at home. For example, it rained the entire time we were there and although we were prepared for the wet weather, there were plenty of items for those who are not. I look forward to coming back in sunny weather to enjoy the gorgeous backyard. Great home plus great homeowners = great stay.

Summary: The homeowners care deeply for your experience! The welcome of a bottle of champagne and a couple bottles of wine was unexpected and appreciated. The home is well supplied with anything you will need and the property is beautiful. The house is maintained very well and the communication with Dani was awesome! Summary: Awesome home , fully stocked, plenty of seating areas for gathering with family. Tons of windows showing off beautiful gardens.This place was a perfect gathering place for my family as we came to town for a local wedding. Will come again if I’m back in the area!
