Positive: The location was fantastic. We needed to get to Henley on Thames early both mornings and Chambers Place was less than 30 minutes away. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of cereal to choose from. The owner is very approachable and helpful.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike

Positive: Spacious main bedrrom/ sitting room with small kitchenette facility. Nice continental breakfast. All very clean. Peaceful location. Very good value for the price.

Negative: No negatives - it is a nice apartment. Just to note however that the sloping ceilings (attic style) could be challenging for a very tall person

Positive: This was a loft conversion in a country property. The name "Garden View" was accurate, as the windows show a sweep of green space all around. There was a friendly welcome from the owner, and it was nice that we were free to walk round many parts of the property. The bed was very comfortable, and things were very quiet overnight - so much better than a city centre hotel. There is a really good fish & chip shop and a well-stocked Co-Op within easy walking distance.

Negative: As a loft conversion, headroom is rather lacking except in the very middle of the main room. It was just about OK for me at 6 feet, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're 6 foot 3. Perhaps it's my fault, but when I read "has kitchenette", I assumed there would at least be a means of frying an egg - but you get a sink, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Lastly, the apartment is right above the owner's TV lounge - which they have on all evening. Either the soundproofing is not so good or they like a high volume, so it's a bit intrusive. But happily it was turned off about 21:30 both nights we were there.

Positive: Super confortable, warm and cosy small appartment with an independent room. Beds were superb. Breakfast is super nice and the idea of having It already in the room gives a nice feeling. The garden is beautiful and super big

Negative: The outside door opens automatically once younger close enougj, but we did not know in advance, so we were there 5 minutes without knowing what to do (the Phone was off). But the owner came quickly and everything was solved

Positive: Chambers place is situated on the edge of woodcote village on a lovely rural plot with pleasant gardens and attractive main property which the accommodation is attached to but self contained for privacy. Great communication from Caroline and pre arrival information. We arrived at dusk to witness the guinea fowl roost for the night in the tree in view of our window, and our late arrival was no problem, which added to the stress free, fun experience of staying there.. The location and property was ideal for us travelling on motorbikes. Parking was ample, and we felt happy that our bikes were safe overnight. Spacious and airy, the accommodation was bright, clean, and comfortable. With beds for 4 people, it is very good value (should you be a party of 4) for money in comparison to similar places (only accommodating 2) we stayed at over a 7 day road trip. Bathroom and kitchenette facilities were perfect for our overnight stay, with ample breakfast options. .

Negative: Others have mentioned the sloped ceilings, which, although not an issue for me, was for my partner who banged his head a few times. Limited TV channels due to signal issues.

Summary: Motorbike friendly rural delight !
