Positive: Thierry, the host, sent out someone to save me when I had a puncture 30km from his house - I didn't ask him, he just did it! This sums him up - not only does he wish to help, he CAN help. The apartment itself is in a beautifully restored maison de la Belle Epoch, The rooms are massive (including a 200+ square metre lounge and a large kitchen/dining room. Everything was spotless, I enjoyed some time in the garden listening to the Gave d'Oloron. The location is brilliant (just behind the Mairie but with parking. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Merci bien, Thierry.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay in this new, completely renovated property. We stayed only for 1 night for the passage of the Tour de France, but should have stayed longer. A very nice town, a lot of culture and nature to discover. The apartment is very close to the city center. The apartment is very spacious, with brand-new furniture. A large comfortable bed, which is sometimes uncommon in France, and much appreciated by tall foreigners like me. Bath room is as well very spacious and well renovated. Very clean as well. My son enjoyed to play with the board games available in the living room. A good idea! The host was very kind. We were able to collect keys immediately after arrival and calling him. Free car parking space is almost around the corner.
Negative: The lighting in the hallway works automatically via sensors that detect movement. This sensor was set a bit too sensitive. Technology has its pro's and con's. We reported this to the host and he was very thankful for this feedback and was going to adjust this immediately. So after all, a very positive experience.
