Positive: Full of character and beautiful grounds in a great location for easy walk to heart of town

Negative: Being in town there was some traffic noise but location was so special I can’t see how to avoid it. House and gardens like a glorious oasis. Truly hard to criticise

Negative: Perhaps only the lack of a shower screen - I was conscious of making the bathroom floor overly wet.

Positive: Comfy bed, great location, lots of space, friendly owner

Negative: Duvet instead of sheets and blankets, shower, not shower head and bath, so not possible to shower. Breakfast was very mediocre, bread and jam basically. We have stayed in much cheaper venues where the owners have given us, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, home made cake as well as bread and jam. Could not get in till 5pm and had to leave by 10am. No flexibility. We were walking the Camino and sat outside the house for two hours when we arrived as it was only 3pm.
