There is plenty of room for gathering at the giant island while meals are prepared as the open floor plan allows for easy sight into the living area and lake views. The primary bedroom suite with king size bed and walk-in shower is located on the first floor along with a half bath and the laundry room. Upstairs are 3 additional bedrooms all with queen size beds - one room with its own bathroom. A loft space with built-in bunk beds offers 4 more twin size beds. A hall bath completes the upstairs! Outside a covered porch with bed swing, fireplace and Traeger grill with pellets makes for the perfect place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Enjoy direct waterfront and pull your boat up to the large dock with stairs for swimming! Centrally located near all Lake Martin's hot spots! The owner has made it extra child friendly with all the things needed to travel with kids of all ages - children’s toys, lake toys, pack n’ play & changing pad, innertube, fishing poles, gymnastic tumbling mat and more! And for the bigger kids: poker table for 10, inflatable movie screen & projector, popcorn maker, paddleboard, floating island, and more! While we don’t recommend it - if you must work while you are at the lake, there is a desk equipped with 2 computer screens, ready to for your laptop to connect! No pets allowed. No smoking allowed. 2 car driveway limit. No street parking - overflow lot only.

Summary: The property was clean and large. The decor was nice. The appliances worked and my family had fun. The problems were as follows: Despite the property being advertised as “sleeps 12” I learned after booking that the property management company wanted to enforce a 2-car policy. Two cars for 12 people…ok. The agency’s solution - after booking- was to tell me that I could park the other cars about 7 miles away and shuttle my family back to the house. After putting 4 cars in the driveway and fully off the street, I was sent a text telling me that I was at risk of having a car towed. I sent a pic of the fact that no cars were on the street and heard nothing else. Other problems included the house temperature on arrival was 52 degrees, the house water was off at the curb, and two bathroom faucets had problems - one handle was completely loose and the other faucet wasn’t properly tightened to the countertop. The downstairs half bath (the one in the common area) had a door that wouldn’t close or lock because the latch was not lined up with the striker plate. I don’t recommend this property in its current condition or management, or for any party with more than 2 cars.
