Positive: The cottage was beautifully presented with all the essentials we needed. It was comfortable and spacious with a lovely view from the pretty garden. The snug was a great bonus as we have teenagers who like to spreadout! We were lucky to have some beautiful spring sunshine and enjoyed watching rabbits, squirrels, sheep and ducks whilst sitting in the garden with a drink.
Negative: Although the cottage is not overlooked, it would benefit from a blind for the glass in the front door as it's not frosted. The barbeque area was lovely but it is a walk from the cottage. Instead we barbecued in the garden to avoid carrying everything there and back again and disturbing the neighbours.
Summary: A wonderful weekend in a delightful cottage.

Positive: Old cottage had everything lots of charm very well converted.Great location for exploring Yorkshire, been to this part of the world many times. So ideal place. Hopefully will be back.
Negative: Large Tv was internet only , the wi fi not that stable buffering a lot. I realised with an old building that certain things can be difficult to change or impractical. The staircase would be difficult for people with mobility problems steep stairs. Would be good to have more control over heating , again I realise Night storage heating can be an issue. Could have been a bit warmer but again that could be me my wife was ok with it.
Summary: We like Yorkshire and it was the Harrogate flower show was on .

Positive: A very spacious but homely cottage, very clean and beautifully furnished. Well equipped kitchen and some lovely extra touches, bread, eggs, milk, butter and tea and coffee provided, fresh flowers and lamps on when we arrived made it very welcoming. Ample parking and a quiet and relaxing location. Kind and helpful hosts
Negative: The stairs are quite steep.
