Located in a secluded neighborhood with rustic charm, The Chapparal Lodge is just five miles south of Hochatown off Highway 259 and Sweet Home Road. In this 1,600 square foot modern cabin, you’ll find the perfect setup for a family or a group of friends and are close enough to enjoy the state park, wineries and other Broken Bow restaurants and nightlife, while also being far enough in the Kiamichi wilderness to experience nature at its best.Close to area Casinos!
On the first floor, a private master bedroom with a king-sized bed welcomes you. The en suite master bath features dual vanities, a spacious, walk-in shower, jetted tub and a washer/dryer. Upstairs, you`ll find an open loft layout with a queen bed, a private full bathroom and a hideout for the little ones. A pull-out sofa bed is also available for two extra guests on the first floor. Outside, you`ll find a firepit with chairs and a covered, wrap around patio with an outdoor dining table, a charcoal grill and a hot tub.
This cabin is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Smart TVs are located throughout for easy streaming.

HOT TUB
1) Hot Tubs are drained and cleaned prior to each arrival and chemicals are added.
2) These cups of chlorine are provided for each night of your stay after the first night. Just empty into the tub and turn on the jets for a couple of minutes to circulate before you get in.
3) Please check the hot tub upon arrival and report any problems you may see.
4) The ONLY buttons you need to push are the Jets and possibly the lights button.
5) DO NOT put any bubbles, oils, etc. in the hot tub.

Summary: My wife and I took a short weekend trip to Broken Bow. We searched for cabins that had a hot tub and grill. The cabin was very clean, spacious and in a good area of town. The directions were inaccurate and it took a while to find the cabin. The hot tub was lukewarm when we arrived and we messaged the owner to see how to get it hotter. His response was not timely and he just said to increase the temperature. Well, we had already done that as there were only 3 controls to choose from. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to use the hot tub as that was the main reason we chose this particular cabin. Also, the grill in the pictures was a gas grill but the one that was on the property was a charcoal grill and we intentionally left our charcoal at home only to have to a buy another bag of charcoal in Broken Bow. There was an arcade game in the loft upstairs that we were pretty excited to play as it rained one of the days we were there and we decided to stay in the cabin. The game didn't power on and we asked the owner about it and he didn't respond. Upon checking out, we noticed instructions tucked away behind a sign on the counter giving instructions to the hot tub. Apparently it was on "sleep" mode and pressing a combinations of a few buttons would have put it in active mode. The owner did not tell us this nor even confirmed if we saw the hot tub instructions. For the price we paid, we to have had a better experience. We would not recommend this cabin.

Summary: The cabin was nice. Hot tub is outdated but worked. The cabin was very clean, but pillows were flat and patio areas was very dirty. Table and chairs had not been cleaned.
