Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here- the location was lovely and it is opposite a great pub. We spent time relaxing in the garden and found lots of nice places to visit nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Cottage suited a 3 generation family well . Lounge room seating could be improved and leaving basic supplies like toilet paper would be convenient. Some bed pillows need replacing but othwise a great stay for a family

Summary: We three ladies enjoyed a week's stay in this charming cottage. It is wonderfully located, close to the M40 (to London/Birmingham) and only 5-10 minutes from the Bicester Village train stations (to London Marylebone/Oxford). The Lion is a great pub and is directly across the road. On arrival, there was the issue of not having any toilet roll in the house (!!) but nothing a trip to Tesco couldn't solve. The owner did come by with some the following day and reimbursed us for the items we had purchased (we also had to buy washing up liquid and kitchen paper towels). As well as essentials like those, a few extra touches like soap/shampoo, tissues, tea/coffee, would be very welcome; and would be a small investment to create a very good lasting impression. For me, (a former Oxonian now in the US) it was a perfect location to visit family and friends and the "lack of TP" problem is not enough of and issue to put me off staying there again.

Summary: We stayed at this cottage whilst exhibiting at Silverstone and we weren't disappointed. The cottage was comfortable and spacious with a pretty cottage garden. The bathroom was really large and well fitted out as was the kitchen. The bedrooms were perfect for us. There was an excellent pub opposite. Tracey was really helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

Summary: This cottage met my three most important criteria: cleanliness, a well equipped kitchen and a well functioning heating system. The landlady was very friendly and helpful, going into Oxford by bus is easy and the pub across the street came in handy in the evenings. I am sure that the few problems that come with an old house will be dealt with swiftly. We just wish we could stay to see the garden turn to full bloom. Well worth a stay!

Summary: I rented the cottage for myself and family members for a few days, leading up to the wedding of my daughter who lives in nearby Bicester. I found it very easy to travel both to Bicester and Oxford. The cottage was so pretty and quaint and we all loved it, including the back garden where we sat out for breakfast. There was a problem with the heating coming on when it shouldn't but I was able to phone the owner and this was sorted immediately. And I know the heating is now being checked. The cleanliness of the rooms and bedding was great, but the only downside was the crockery and cutlery were all greasy and I needed to do a big washing up session before I could use anything. This might have been due to previous tenants- I don't know. But I would definitely return to the cottage again in the future should an occasion arise.
