Positive: Perfect location ! Walking distance to Park and Ride and Racecourse. Once there we didn’t have to use the car again. The breakfasts were delicious and both evening meals were good value for money. Our room was compact but more than adequate. Bar and restaurant both comfortable to be in and the staff were lovely.
Negative: The bed was too hard for our liking but everything else was fine.

Positive: Comfortable bed in clean modern room with excellent bathroom. The room faced an enclosed private courtyard adjacent to the beer garden. The pub has recently been refurbished, looks great. Excellent breakfast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough with good coffee and a breakfast bar of cereals, yoghurt and fruit compote.
