Positive: The Inn Keeper, Stephan, was great! Professional and personable! Breakfast was so nice!!
Negative: Upkeep on the house it’s self . Was nice enough but could be brought up abit . Everything else was fine. Lawn freshly mowed and looked nice.
Summary: Comfortable and warmly welcomed. Treated us like family. Well done!

Positive: The front porch was so inviting to visit and to watch the world go by while waiting for Family members to arrive in Charlevoix. Our bed was so comfy and the Breakfasts were SUPERB! Chef Steffan made dishes to accommodate our dietary needs. I especially loved the fresh blueberry Artisan bread and curried sweet potatoes & greens with 4 eggs nestled on the top. Delicious. He made another with bacon for the another couple. Plus Steffan made sure there were water bottles, snacks & fruit on the entry table. 12 ⭐️

Positive: The location was very close to downs\town, 3 minutes walking. The large bed was very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean as was the downstairs living room and dining room.
Negative: The room was not accurately described. It was on the third floor, up two staircases, the second was very small and tight with a 90 degree turn, very difficult when carrying luggage. Not for an elderly person. The bedroom and bathroom had a slanted ceiling from the roof, there was no couch as described, there were 3 beds, a tiny bathroom. There was no private entrance to the suite as described. I think of it had been accurate;t described and priced accordingly, I would have not minded these elements. But the description was misleading and priced too high.
Summary: Small space was clean and adequate for a one nights stay.

Negative: The host was very friendly and even offered us a discount because we had a miscommunication with how many guests we were having and the listing was misleading. We were made to believe we’d have a pull out sofa but when we arrived our room did not have the pull out sofa anymore. The host was accommodating and offered us an extra room at a discounted price! He was very understanding and flexible with our needs. However his colleague who was in charge of making breakfast in the morning for guests was very rude. We asked her if she could make extra breakfast since we had a larger party and she said we were supposed to only eat one sausage patty per person. Mind you there were no instructions as to how many portions we were supposed to eat in the “Breakfast Included” details. She expressed hostile and cold behavior toward us. On the day of checkout we rang the service button to return our room key. She came and we told her we were checking out and handed her the key. She said thank you and walked away. Mind you the day before we saw her being very friendly to another couple and telling them to have ta great day while they were checking out. Her service was extremely unfriendly toward us and we believe she might’ve been racist. We felt uncomfortable with her and won’t be returning.
