Summary: House was wonderful, lake was super relaxing and not busy at all only slight hiccup was the extreme heat and no AC in two of the four rooms but we already knew that.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this cute house! It was pretty secluded, neighbors were in sight but never close. Nice quiet street. House was very clean and we found everything we needed. The lake has seaweed by the beach (as most do) so a few of the girls didn’t want to venture in but the water was really warm. Great deck and patio and nice lake view! We saw some cute frogs and a little water snake. If you are not steady on going up stairs this is not the place for you, the stairs to the 2nd level were a little steep. The property manager was very quick to respond to inquiries and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Summary: Our family truly enjoyed this rental. Clean and decorated very nice. Steps away from a peaceful lake and plenty of yard space to enjoy outdoor games. Perfect location to feel like a get away but an easy 30 min drive to beach towns. Many nearby wineries as well. Host very responsive to questions and provided a helpful list of area shopping/entertainment. It was a great family weekend! .

Summary: The setting exceeded our expectations. The cabin is so sweet looking and the interior was very clean, plenty of space to sleep and gaze out to the lake and fireflies. Full disclosure we were attacked by mosquitoes as we were unloading but luckily the cabin was stocked with repellent. The only other drawback was no working washer for clothes but none was advertised, when calling to clarify Joe answered first call both times.

Summary: We just had our annual girls weekend this past weekend in Paw Paw and the house was perfect! Plenty of yard space and lake frontage! Their is no air conditioning but between the lake breeze & shade from the trees it really wasn’t bad at all! The house itself it super cute and has everything you could need to enjoy a weekend at the lake. Perfect for the nature lovers as we saw a lot of chipmunks, frogs, & beautiful birds. Very quite lake and peaceful. The water pressure is a little funky but other than that we had a great time!

Summary: First impression this house was clean. If you rent houses often you know some houses are the opposite of clean. Nicely decorated, furnished appropriately and stocked with everything we could have needed. My husband (who had to find something wrong) commented he may have liked a chair or two that could be easily moved around inside the house, but plenty of places to sit. The outside had plenty of chairs set out on the deck overlooking the quaint lake. The homeowner informed me the lawn was being mowed about the same time as our arrival. Due to a lot of seasonal rain the grass was like a sponge our entire stay. Like a sponge is not an exaggeration, each step you would sink an half inch. The kids would have liked to play on the grass area but that wasn’t happening with the wet ground situation. The weather was hot while we were there reaching 95° one day (No A/C, but we knew this before renting). Each room had a working fan. Why I mention the heat is because I mentioned the wet grass, usually heat and wet produce bugs. This was not the case. We were pleasantly surprised the lack of bugs. Besides the tiny ants biting (probably because their ground was flooded) no other biting bugs were discovered. The first night of our stay we realized the hot water tank was not functioning. Our group of ten made the best of the situation and the home owner, who was out of the country, appropriately and timely responded to our needs. We drove about 30 minutes to South Haven public beach one afternoon. Stopped at a few local breweries. The charming and quiet house sits on a lake with other similar houses. All houses are spaced far enough apart that you barely knew there was neighbors. We rented this specific house mainly because of the location (a ten minute drive to my sons house in Kalamazoo).

Summary: There were 10 of us that stayed in this cottage and had a lovely long weekend. The cottage fits 10 just fine. The cottage is nicely decorated and clean. The lake has a small sandy area just at the edge of the property that is nice an shallow. Our kids had a ball playing in that area, looking for frogs and fishing. We rented a boat which was lots of fun too. The lake was nice and warm and we enjoyed bon fires in the evening. Highly recommend this property!
