The serene landscapes of Moran State Park are 14 miles east, where you can take a swim in Cascade Lake or admire the incredible view from Mt. Constitution (the highest point in the San Juan Islands). Deer Harbor Reserve and Marina are only half a mile south, and there are restaurants, shops, and plentiful hiking and biking opportunities nearby.

Summary: We loved our stay in the Harbor View Suite. It fit our family perfectly. The home was well kept and very clean. We had a sick child upon arrival and they let us check in a little early so she could rest and it helped a lot. From check in to check out everything ran very smoothly. We were very grateful to have a place so comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. We even had a water view. So beautiful! We can’t wait to come back.

Summary: The cabin is piece-mealed together with odd, dated decorations, and poor quality remodeling. The mattress doesn’t fit the bed frame correctly. The hammock and back deck were lovely, as well as the hot tub. The hot tub is out front and not private at all. Pictures were a bit misleading.

Summary: Matthew's BBQ Restaurant next door is a must. Food is terrific. Peek-A-Boo view of Deer Harbor is great and so is the West-facing deck.

Summary: We loved the quiet tranquility of the place, it was well equipped and clean. But it’s a bit shabby, door handles aren’t properly aligned, laminate floor peeling up, a few stinky blankets, some of the windows a bit tough to open….seems like the place could use a bit of a facelift. Check out was 10 am and that was tough as we travel with two teenagers. Also not a fan of having to clean when you also pay for cleaning. The hammock on the deck was awesome, the bbq place next door was tasty and two of the beds were comfy, we were glad to be able to bring our doggo. We normally stay in 4 and 5 star hotels so take our review with a grain of salt - this is a great budget option if you aren’t fancy or fussy.

Summary: Some windows did not lock & heaters were hidden n in a closet. No instructions for TV & VACSA never responded to emails! You are truly on your own! Beware of hidden costs like the hot tub that I did not use & had VACASA remove from bill

Summary: The unit was tired and dated, it's in desperate need of an update/refresh. For what we paid to rent it, I expected better. We arrived the first night and the bed broke when someone sat on it, looks like the previous renters broke it and put it together and not told anyone. I called Vacasa and the customer service rep told us to sleep on the floor. WTF!!! if i wanted to sleep on the floor I would have gone camping, she didn't even offer to give us a discount on the rate. I called the maintenance person in the morning (Jake) he was friendly and apologized and has the bed fixed by the afternoon. He said he would request a discount/rate reduction from Vacasa, but as of 2 weeks later, not a word from Vacasa. The unit was in a good location, close to Deer harbor, the grounds had aa nice BBQ restaurant, and overall the unit was clean and met our needs, The 2-star was for the TERRIBLE service from Vacasa (not Jake), I will probably never rent from Vacasa again and warn anyone away from them.

Summary: For the price after fees and taxes I expected the place to be top notch. It's was just ok. Shower wasn't great most everything worked and the beds were comfortable but price was way above what we thought it should be for the property. All the dishes needed to be washed prior to using them. They actually got put away with food stuck to them.
