Beautifully located in the heart of Catskill, just a few minutes walk to the village center with terrific restaurants/shopping, around the corner to the Thomas Cole House, and half an hour’s drive to Hunter Mountain and Wyndham Ski resorts. Tastefully furnished, cozy and comfortably elegant, with thoughtful accoutrements, this is the perfect Hudson Valley getaway. Two and a half hours from the city, half an hour to Woodstock and Kingston, and 15 minutes to Hudson.

Summary: My family and I stayed at Carol’s property while spending Thanksgiving with my brother who lives locally and it worked out perfectly! Perfect in that the house was lovely - had the charm of an older home but with modern updates - and the location to town couldn’t have been better. It fit the 6 of us perfectly. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood just a blocks from Main Street with a lovely backyard. The space was immaculate and for the most part had everything we needed. Carol was super responsive and got back to me very quickly whenever I had a question, even on Thanksgiving day when I was trying to locate a blow dryer! We will return next time the group of us visit my brother. Thank you, Carol!

Summary: This was the perfect spot for my family to stay. Having a first floor bedroom was fantastic for a family member who has been having balance issues and stairs are difficult. It was quiet and very clean. We went into Hudson one night for dinner and stayed one night in Catskills another. Best of both worlds. That Sunday did take in brunch and ate at the house allowing for a more cozy, leisurely time spent with family we have not see in awhile.

Summary: Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to call home for the weekend! The house was extremely clean, decorated just lovely and all the extras in the kitchen were much appreciated. We hope to return next year to such a great place!

Summary: All aspects of our stay were wonderful. The host was communicative and accessible. The home was exactly as advertised and among the cleanest rentals we have ever encountered. Very quiet and private but just a short walk to town. Would return to this property in a heartbeat if we visit the area again! Thank you Carol!

Summary: 4 ladies visiting the area and house was perfect! Easy walk into town (10 mins max) and even a doable walk across Rip Van Winkle Bridge to Whitecliff Winery and Ohana Estate/Historic Site. Next time would rent a Turo to have more mobility to explore the greater Catskill/Hudson area as Ubers are very hard to get and you are best served to have transportation from train station pre-arranged. We had a BLAST tho and Carol was highly responsive!

Summary: Three adults spent a weekend here. Great house with all the amenities you'd need - clean and modern. Walking distance to the town of Catskill, and a short drive across the bridge to the town of Hudson. Very easy and clear communication with Carol, the host. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had such a comfortable and pleasant stay at Carol’s house. It was a lovely quiet pretty place with easy access to Catskill’s Main Street. We intended to go to Hudson for dinner but in the end we couldn’t resist the five minute ride to the restaurants Carol recommended. The kitchen was great and the dining room was perfect for the three of us. Thank you!
