Summary: I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic holiday apartment in the Eifel region over the Pentecost holiday, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The apartment is situated in a serene location with breathtaking views of the valley and neighboring hills. From the windows, I could see lush meadows dotted with cows and horses, as well as charming little forests. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made it a perfect retreat. Despite being advertised as a small apartment, it felt incredibly spacious for two people. The highlight for me was the large kitchen and bathroom. Both were equipped with all the essentials, including toilet paper, toilet disinfectant, towels, cleaning cloths, dishwasher tabs, cutlery, toaster, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and both a traditional and pod-based coffee maker. It was evident that the hosts had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The living and dining area was equally impressive, featuring a dining table, a coat rack for jackets, and a cozy leather corner couch facing the television, complete with a small coffee table. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful Eifel region. The bedroom boasted a spacious double bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The overall experience of staying in this holiday apartment was exceptional. The location, the peaceful ambiance, the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the comfortable living area all contributed to a memorable stay. Summary: We zijn halverwege. Tot nu toe prima. Hier en daar wel een suggestie, maar daar komen we aan toe als ons verblijf hier ten einde is.

Summary: Ruim appartement in een rustige omgeving. Zelf vonden we het niet gezellig ingericht (erg kaal, het echode een beetje), maar smaken verschillen uiteraard! Je kunt mooi wandelen in de omgeving, routes staan goed aangegeven.

Summary: het huisje was ruim voor twee personen en twee honden. Netjes verzorgd en schoon. Prima bedden goed geslapen. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien , vaatwasser!!! Je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken

Summary: Ruime accommodatie voor twee personen. Alle luxe aanwezig, vaatwasser en zelfs Nederlandse TV zenders. De bank en stoelen waren iets minder comfortabel evenals het bed. Gelukkig hadden we onze eigen kussens mee. De omgeving is prachtig en we hebben heerlijk schnitzels gegeten in de Alte Posthalterei in Hellenthal. Aanrader!

Summary: Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad. Aankomst was prettig, wij werden direct ontvangen en kregen een rondleiding door het huis. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Huisje is van de meeste gemakken voorzien, wel nemen wij altijd wat boodschappen mee en dit was wel prettig i.v.m dingen zoals keuken en wc-papier, zout/peper en spullen voor het ontbijt aangezien er in het dorp geen bakker of supermarkt is. Echter met een 20 minuten rijden heb je in de omgeving een aantal winkels. Omgeving is erg mooi en je kan vanuit het huisje uren wandelen of fietsen. Pak je de auto ben je met een half uur bij verschillende attracties en bezienswaardigheden. Alleen het bed vonden wij niet zo comfortabel, zeker de hoofdkussens niet.

Summary: Prachtige omgeving, het dorp is rustig en er is geen winkel of uitgaansmogelijkheid. Dit vonden wij geen probleem daar wij met de auto waren en gemakkelijk ergens heen konden rijden. Mocht je met de fiets zijn, zou het lastig kunnen zijn. Bij aankomst kwam de Nederlandse eigenaar naar het huisje, en legde vlot de inrichting uit. De inrichting was netjes, geen oude meubels, maar gewoon fris nieuw. Goed bed, prima douche, prima bank en stoelen. Helaas geen eigen tuintje, of terrasje. Wel een bankje voor de deur. In de zon. De omgeving is flink heuvelachtig, dus bij het wandelen rekening mee houden. Er is in de nabije omgeving ook nogal wat historie te vinden, in de vorm van restanten van de Siegfriedlinie, het Ardennenoffensief aan het einde van de 2e WO. Schleiden is leuk om te winkelen, Gerolstein prachtig om te wandelen, Eifel is mooi om door te wandelen of te rijden! Genoeg te doen hier!

Summary: De accommodatie is voor 2 personen en prima, goede keuken en badkamer. TV is voorzien van Nederlandse zenders en goede bedden. Omgeving is rustig en wie van wandelen houdt is hier op de juiste plek. Er zitten in de map een paar routes van de VVV en zijn mooi. Boodschappen kun je heel goed bij Schleiden, net ervoor zijn een Aldi, Lidl en Rewe. In het plaatsje zelf een aantal winkels en bij de Italiaan of bakker is er koffie met wat je maar wilt eten.

Summary: Erg mooi huisje en ruim voor 2 personen. We hadden ook 2 honden mee, en ook dat past prima. Het huisje ligt aan een doodlopende straat aan het eind van het dorp, zonder last van verkeer of andere mensen. De ontvangst was goed iemand van een nabij gelegen huisje ving ons meteen op en liet het verblijf aan ons zien. Parkeren kan recht voor de deur, waar ook een bankje staat mocht je buiten willen zitten er is geen terras namelijk. Het dorp heeft geen winkel of bakker, dus als je 's ochtends wilt ontbijten kan je het beste afbakbroodjes in de oven doen. De badkamer is netjes, maar wel laag het plafond is 2 meter en als je dus wat lang bent is het lastig om te douchen (maar niet onoverkomelijk). De keuken is voorzien van vaatwasser, aparte oven en magnetron. De slaapkamer heeft een 2 persoons bed met 2 losse matrassen. Deze waren helaas doorgelegen waardoor je de lattenbodem voelt. Ook is het niet donker te maken in de slaapkamer, dus als je van licht wakker wordt ben je in ieder geval vroeg wakker. Wifi is aanwezig en werkt goed erg fijn om wandelroutes/fietsroutes uit te stippelen. Houdt rekening met hoogteverschil zodra je het dorp uit gaat moet je flink afdalen, en uiteindelijk ook weer klimmen op de terugweg.
