This beautifully maintained, three-bedroom cottage right by the shores of Lake Erie has three adorable bedrooms, a large, new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a wood-burning fireplace, sunny family room, and a fully fenced backyard with grill, patio, and firepit. It's the perfect summer vacation rental and would be a lovely place to spend an autumn weekend or take a snowy weekend retreat.
The house is located about 300 yards from lake access, and all street residents have access to the lake directly in front of the boathouse. The beaches above the shoreline on either side of the boathouse and cement area are privately owned. Because it is a private road, we ask that guests respect the neighborhood by following the 5 mph speed limit and generally behaving quietly and discreetly. Please do not park at the water, it is a short stroll down to the lake with your belongings.

Summary: My out-of-town family stayed here after the death of a family member. It was so nice to have our own little place to go back to during this stressful time of our lives. I highly recommend this place for anytime of the year. It must be great there in summer!

Summary: It was a great lake cottage. We were there in October, so didnt utilize the beach. Cottage was homey, plenty of room, great and quiet neighborhood.

Summary: This home was ideal for my solo retreat. Had more than enough for what I needed, which was a place to relax and recharge. Loved the kitchen and the original hardwood floors upstairs. Want to come back in warmer weather so I can take advantage of the back yard and the beach!

Summary: We booked a small house to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. The location was a little further from town than I thought. We arrived after dark, it would have been nice if the host would have turned on an outdoor light. The driveway was quite muddy! I am sure more people stay during the summer for access to the lake, which it was super close to! Blankets on the bed were more for warmer months, they could change these out for the colder months of having guests during the cold WNY winters. Heat was set pretty low in the house when we arrived and took a bit to warm up. Overall, the large kitchen fit our needs and was well stocked with kitchen tools/pots/pans and baking dishes for a holiday meal! I would come back again, if we visited during the summer to be close to the beach/lake! The host was responsive to any questions I had! Cute home!

Summary: Wonderful cottage, perfect location. Floors were a bit neglected - my white socks got very black and dirty after walking around the cottage as soon as we got there - we always took our shoes off after walking to the beach before we came into the house, so it wasn't us that dirtied the floors. I removed a clump of hair from past guest from the shower drain first time I used the shower. Gross! The couch in the family room was so soft and saggy that my back got a bit sore while watching TV. I did not complain about these 3 issues to the property manager because everything else was so nice and enjoyable. Julie, the manager, was very friendly. However, the owner should probably be notified that the cleaning staff may be taking a short cut in the cleaning process. We loved the cottage and do hope to stay there again. Paula and Bill Pike

Summary: The house was everything I hoped it would be and more. The communication with Claire was a breeze and she was always very responsive. The cottage is in fantastic neighborhood just steps away from the beach on a private cul-de-sac. You will need to obey the 5 MPH speed limit or otherwise your car will likely break an axle as it is very bumpy. The cottage is a nice mix of modern and rustic charm. There is one word of caution: Those with mobility issues will find the narrow and steep stairs challenging! It was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It even had central air which is a rarity in older cottages and will be a boon in the heat. The beach is lovely but very narrow. Having spent most of my Summers here as a child, it is the quintessential Lake Erie cottage in a quiet, lovely private cottage but still conveniently located. I will be returning and look forward to making new memories!
