Charming Cottage located just a few steps from the historic lighthouse and beautiful waterfront park. This recently remodeled home is the perfect spot whether you are looking to enjoy a weekend getaway, attend a wedding, or stay for an extended period of time.
Our single level home features 2 bedrooms with queen beds. We do have a pack-n-play available for young children, as well as a portable high chair if needed. There is a large front porch for enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, as well as a comfortable living room to relax after a long day of kayaking or hiking at the Susquehanna State Park. House features a full kitchen with all the modern appliances as well as basic spices and cooking essentials. Feel free to use our full size washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. Wireless internet is included and all TV's are set up with Amazon fire sticks and streaming services. Step outside the kitchen and enjoy the outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill...both stocked for your visit. Walk a few blocks and enjoy a coffee at the Promenade Grille while you stroll along the water to the historic lighthouse. Enjoy a game of pickle ball on the newly constructed courts at Tidings Memorial Park, and finish your day with a meal at one of the many fabulous restaurants, wine bars, or enjoy a treat from Bomboys Candy and Ice Cream Shop.

Summary: We were visiting because our daughter was playing in a baseball tournament at Ripken. Close to the venue, and was able to enjoy relaxing quiet time on our down time.

Summary: It was a a very cute, clean house. Had everything we needed! Minutes away from restaurants in town- which were great! Enjoyed the cheese board when we first got there, great touch.

Summary: It was a very clean, sweet little house located in a special and historic town at the top of the Chesapeake Bay. We enjoyed walking the promenade area and viewing the lighthouse. We were welcomed with a lovely charcuterie board, drinks and snacks! How thoughtful! It was well stocked with firewood, and a Weber Charcoal Grill, which we enjoyed both! The air conditioning throughout the house works great too. We had fun at McGregor's and Coakley's, (nice people and atmosphere) We liked the sailboat races on Thursday night too! Millard Tydings Park was a great park for our granddaugher to explore/beautiful setting also. They offer free fishing in designated areas too! Also, Doug and Alice were wonderful hosts with great communication. We love the old fashioned charm of a claw foot bathtub, but had to be cautious in getting in and out of the bathtub/shower. 15 minutes away was Lee's Landing Dock Bar with a tropical setting on the Susquehanna River, again very nice people! All of the above were pet friendly places to visit too, as we travel with our shih tzu.

Summary: Great responsive host. Little cottage was perfect. One small detail, mattress in front room should be replaced. I stripped the bedding as directed and the mattress was gross. Other than that, great stay.

Summary: Great location for all our needs this weekend. So close too many things to do and see. Really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and privacy hard to believe we were so close to town. Only down fall was the the tub not being able to get in and out because of my disability. That was my fault for assuming it had a regular tub. Great for our little dog. We all had a very relaxing time. Thank you.
