This charming cottage has been gently refurbished to high living standards. The interior as well as the exterior combine traditional elements with modern ones in a tasteful fashion. The old stone walls have been freshly limed and the wood flooring as well as stone tiles combined with the high ceilings reflect the charm of this historic building and result in a clean climate and cosy atmosphere. Car park directly in front. On the barrier free ground floor you will find: sheltered south-east patio for sunny breakfasts with a view onto an old stone fountain and beautiful flowers, further you will find a spacious entry hall with stoned walls, french windows providing charming views, a large living room boasting oak flooring, a delightful fireplace, wooden furniture, a book shelf containing many guide books of the region, games collection, TV + Amazon Prime, internet, telephone, further you will find the open plan well equipped customized new kitchen and the old long wooden farmers dining table. The spacious modernized bathroom provides daylight and boasts a barrier free shower cabin, a bath tub, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. Wooden stairs lead you to the top floor into the large gallery with a further TV, bed couch and chairs, as well as the 2 delightful bedrooms, one with a view to the Schwarzwald, the other with a view onto the vineyards. A large west facing balcony provides views to stunning sun settings across the Vogesen in France. All windows have modern light, sight and insect protection. Uniquely guests have unlimited access to all living areas. Nobody else is living in the house. A nearby village store with a cafe provides for all amenities and fresh produce as well as freshly baked cakes. In the quaint historic chapel of Muggardt you can find peace and tranquility. The ruin of the castle Neuenfels overlook the Rhein valley, offering splendid views and is in walking distance. The neighbouring 3rd tallest mountain in the black forrest offers alpine views.
