Summary: The house was beautiful, clean and very well-equipped (the children particularly appreciated the games), the views and sunsets were fabulous, and the peace and quiet was just wonderful. Summary: Where to start? We had a great 2 weeks in the house of the Cordonnier. At our arrival we were straight away welcomed by Nicolas and invited by Nadine for an 'apéritive' a couple of days later to talk about our interests, hence possible activities, places to visit and tips. We ended up doing almost the whole list we came up with. By the way, the best tip ever was to park on a P+R outside of Toulouse and take the metro into the city center instead of driving there as we did in the past. That said the house is very well located to visit the larger communes around like Mirepoix (<30m) and the cities of Toulouse (<1h30m) and Carcassonne (<1h). The house of the Cordonnier itself was very nice, spacious and had all amenities. Not to mention the view of the Pyrenees. Except for a couple of minor details there's really nothing bad to say about it. The outdoor amenities were also good, starting with the pool. It is large, also with a great view, and is shared with the family and their friends, but at no point did this cause an issue. Besides that there are a swing, bike and toy tractor, all of which were nice extra's for our children. So thanks Nadine and Nicolas for your hospitality and making this a great holiday. Also a special thank you to Nicolas' mother and partner who were extremely helpful in helping us out when we ended up with a flat tyre only a day before returning home. Summary: Nicolas was a very warm and welcoming host. He gave us recommendations as well as making us feel very welcome. He was approachable and thoughtful. The house is clean with lots of room. The pool was also lovely and clean and very refreshing. Our one disappointment was the unseasonable weather that was windy and unsettled, so we weren't able to take more advantage of the pool. Nicolas was as surprised about it as we were. But the location is fantastic and very quiet. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing get-away. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Highly recommended!

Summary: Gite is beautiful, cosy, well equiped, nice view over the hills. Owners very nice and helpfull. Much to see in the surroundings. The nearest (little) village is about 4 km, so very quiet.
