7 Bedroom Place in Cold Spring

1800 hundreds farmhouse with circular driveway, wrap-around porch, 3 fireplaces, outdoor patio with fireplace, and beautiful country views, central AC, with access to heated pool, 50 foot slip-and-slide, hot tub, large sandbox, swing set, 2.5 fully loaded kitchens, bonfire pits, slate pool area, 2 BBQ grills, basketball hoops , outdoor ping pong table, outdoor foosball table, large outdoor gazebos, and much more.
Beautiful country, scenic setting with stream that wraps around grounds, offering complete privacy, gorgeous nature preserve and lake across the road, and only minutes away from world ranked hiking trails, shopping, fishing, boating, train to NY City, and village waterfront.
The daily rate quoted is for 5 bedrooms (2 king beds, and 3 queens beds with each room also containing either couch, sleeper couch, or air mattress). But it is possible to add the Barn Suite for $250 per night (detached spacious, duplex unit with king bed, and several couches, and couple air mattresses), and/or Guest Suite for $300 per night (spacious apartment attached to Main House) with king bed, queen futon, 2 full sleeper couches, and large, comfortable couch. If you are interested in adding additional space, it should be done at booking, or very soon thereafter, as this additional space will probably not be available at a later date (additional suites remain vacant if not included).
Please note that even though the ENTIRE property (i.e., the main house PLUS adding at additional cost the Barn Suite and the Guest Suite), can accommodate 30+ guests; the daily rate quoted is for a total 8 guests; add $50.00 per night, per additional guest after 8 total count.
Thus, this property can offer up to 7 bedrooms in total (when booking main house PLUS adding at additional cost the Barn Suite and the Guest Suite), and approximately 7,000 sq ft of living space in middle of nature preserve with stunning country views.
If you use premises for event/party, in addition to lodging purposes, permission must be secured PRIOR to booking, and there will most probably be additional charges.
There are multiple cameras monitoring driveway, entrances to structures/house, entire outdoor grounds (including incidentally pool area), exterior of house, perimeter of property. We do not monitor, nor actively record, and they are there strictly for security purposes, but will review footage (if any exists) if any issues arise requiring documentation in support of a claim.

Summary: Great place to stay and will be back again. Highly recommended. Communication star dropped due to the application not functioning properly in messaging and only being able to communicate through the app/website, not through phone.

Summary: We had 16 people stay for the weekend and had a great time. The house is huge and all the beds and futons are comfy. The layout is a little confusing but we loved the charm of an older home. Everyone had the best time and we all want to go back. The pool is great! I also grilled dinner for everyone on the grill and had no issues.

Summary: My team of over thirty used this property for a writing retreat for two nights. The accommodations were outstanding, and both the buildings and the grounds easily held our large group without anyone ever feeling cramped. Great wifi coverage throughout and lots of outdoor activities where one could find solitude. Great communication with the host, who provided all of the linens and extra sleeping accommodations anyone needed, along with being highly responsive and flexible throughout the entire process from booking to checkout.

Summary: We, our kids and grandchildren had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse. The accommodations were superb, the amenities of pool, hot tubs, slip and slide, foos ball, and barbecues were perfect for us, the grandkids loved exploring and playing hide and go seek in all the nooks and crannies of the house, and the owner was ever-thoughtful and helpful. Ten stars!!!
