Summary: This was our second stay here. We love it! It’s historical and well decorated. Very comfy beds and linens. The kitchen is functional and well stocked. Highly recommend!

Summary: We came to Defuniak Springs to attend the FL Chautauqua session. The location of the unit was perfect. We could easily walk to everything we needed. The unit was super clean and well stocked for a long term stay. Defuniak Springs is a charming town with a farmers market and lots of restaurants to eat at.

Summary: We enjoyed being downtown with the coffee shop and lake. The apartment was charming and comfortable. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of seating available. We did run out of toilet paper and purchased a 4 pack which we left for the next guests. We will stay here again next time we visit our family here.

Summary: My wife and I were looking for a place close to the location where my mother was raised. A place that would give her the feeling of being home again. This quiet apartment with a historic feel was just the ticket. The apartment was filled with antiques and photos of local residents, a time when the Chautauquas were in operation. I enjoyed morning runs around Lake Chipley and relaxing mornings with a pastry from Perla's cafe just around the corner. My wife enjoyed the Nook & Cranny antique shop on Baldwin, a block away. We all enjoyed the Saturday morning farmer's Market. We will be back.

Summary: Great accommodations and location. We love staying at historic homes and other facilities and this loft apartment was awesome. It was very clean and comfortable - we wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was great, the only issue was the parking. The entrance to the loft was in an alley and parking was on the street. The property description said there was a designated parking space, but we never saw it. Received a warning ticket from the friendly police department for parking on one side of the alley. All in all, it was a great stay and we hope to stay there again.

Summary: Absolutely love staying in DeFuniak Springs when going to the gulf coast as it is equidistant from most of the fun on the Emerald Coast. I must pause right here to thank Kim for the most awesome hospitality!! Thank you so much for the bottle of table wine and the nice card. It was awesome to feel so welcomed! The loft was as pictured and so much more. When we arrived the wonderful cleaning crew was leaving, and they were absolutely fantastic and the loft was absolutely spotless. The loft is fully furnished and turnkey. It would be a wonderful spot for a honeymoon or a romantic get away. It is directly across from a wonderful restaurant and bar( say hi to Jade the best barkeep in Florida!). All in all a 500 star experience. Thank you again Kim for the wonderful hospitality and loft!
