Summary: This was probably the nicest guest home I've ever stayed. It's just beautiful. It's on a large piece of private gated property too. We will go back again and again. IF THIS PLACE EVER GOES UP FOR SALE PLEASE CONTACT US. Folks, if you are looking for a place to stay that is larger enough for the family and has great privacy and security this IS the place. I ton of money was put I to that place and it show. Incredible kitchen with lots of toys. A GREAT king sized bed in the master and lots of privacy even on the how. So if you have giggly kids that like to stay up late on vacation it's not a problem. I had to hard to think of anything that could be something g to critique. This is a tiny thing but I'd invest in a better shower head in the AWESOME master bathroom. And maybe a hot tub? Important note- If you folks plan to stay here, the main router is behind the TV set downstairs in the living room. Switch it OFF then ON to get your wifi and TV programming.! At least the TV Zprogramming anyway. It really is a great place with lots of personality.. I wish I was there RIGHT NOW. Thank you for letting g us share time with our family there.

Summary: We had a wonder time visiting! Close to our family in Portland, but still close enough to mountain activities for fun in the snow! Excellent hiking and snowshoeing, skiing and tubing, if you’re so inclined, are all within an easy quick drive. The house is beautiful, spacious master suite and 2nd bedroom with comfortable queen and king beds! The kitchen was very nicely stocked and made for an easy prep for a family dinner celebrating my parents’ 66th wedding anniversary! We loved this spot, right off the main highway, but in a location and on enough property to feel very secluded and private. We will definitely be back!

Summary: The property is absolutely beautiful. You enter from a entrance gate and drive up through the woods into the property, coming around the last bend you see the house. We liked that you could lock the front entrance gate for added sense of security. The house was fabulous, furniture & beds were comfortable. I am not one that sleeps well if the bed is at all uncomfortable, well I slept like a baby every night! Kitchen had every utensil you would need, but only salt, pepper & olive oil, so bring what you would want to use. The grounds were cool, my dog & I enjoyed walking all over & checking things out. The forest paths were pretty overgrown but walkable, lots of incline (FYI). Only two minor things for a critique, the porch is lovely but you can hear road noise from the Mt Hood highway, which was ok for us we still enjoyed the morning bunnies & night owls sounds, the stars were awesome. Second minor item was it would be nice to have some kind of instruction book, what are the local TV channels, how do you turn on the outside accent lighting ect....

Summary: Easy check in. Home was spacious. Cozy. Fire pit outside was neat-need to buy your own wood. Fireplace was inoperable. It worked temporarily but I believe remote needed batteries. For the time it worked was wonderful. The surrounding area was just so large and great for family to play yard games and explore. The home is just as pictured. View is nice. One tip- do not leave doors or windows a jar- the flies were terrible and with vaulted ceilings no way to get them out.

Summary: This was the most beautiful home and property we have ever stayed in. I was worried seeing other houses near the street, but this home has a long winding driveway leading to basically the entrance to heaven, a plateau of land with gorgeous landscaping, surrounded by forests, and the most stunning house. This property is private and truly feels like the wilderness. Upscale decor, bedding, plenty of kitchen tools, a wine fridge, laundry, and well-appointed toiletries/towels/linens. Two bonus cabins with board games, an arcade game, and a poker table with chips & cards. My favorite vacation rental ever!
