Summary: Our stay at the apartment was great once we arrived. Everything we needed was there. But we had been sent to an incorrect address a 12 minute walk from the actual apartment. It was tough to get ahold of the host at that time when we didn’t have access to wifi and were in a different location than expected, but we eventually worked it out. This added about 30-45 minutes to check in.

Summary: The omens weren't great when we had to chase to get the full address and were then incorrectly told "if it shows up for me it must definitely show up for you too" on the App. The view of the App for the manager is different to that for the customer but the manager didn't know or care that was the case. This negative/unhelpful type of response was what then met virtually every text message question/suggestion. For example, the suggestion that 2 couples in a flat should have a key for each couple was met with "If you wanted a 2nd key, you could've just said so in advance or asked for it. I'm not one to guess what you're gonna do in Dublin." The flat is not as nice as the listing shows. It is in need of some basic maintenance as it is now tired. Eg. the wifi only works on top floor, missing step edging, broken toilet flusher, bedroom tv not connected to any sources, heater switch broken, toilet seat loose and shower leaks badly onto floor. In addition the 5th person bed is an inflatable that is too big to fit anywhere in the flat. Sadly, a flat that is shabby compared to the listing and cost and has managers that could really do with customer service training rather than having the archetypal attitude of a letting agent where everything is met with negativity.
