Summary: Great property for digital nomads. Good workspace and what a view! Easy access to walking/cycling trails allowing a fun walk or bike ride into the Courtenay/Comox/Cumberland areas as well. Fantastic dinner with music just blocks away at Roy's Towne Pub! Morning coffee even closer. Great hosts and a well provisioned suite.

Summary: My husband, <2 year old son and I had an amazing stay at the sea view suite. We had everything we needed including a separate room for our son, and the owner leant us a pack and play and high chair. There were also various child dishes/utensils, stuffed animals, and a playhouse with kids coffee maker and toaster toys! The little reading nook overlooking the water was perfect for children and adults alike. The unit had all the amenities we needed including comfy beds, a full bath with toiletries and lots of towels, pillows and blankets. Lots of living room and a spacious well equipped kitchen.

Summary: We were four friends on a paddling & mountain biking holiday and this suite made for the perfect base. 10 min to Cumberland trails and 1 min walk to the ocean. The spacious suite was perfect for making large meals after our adventures. Lovely yard with lots of outdoor seating.

Summary: Two couples for three nights (Vancouver Island Music Festival). Large comfy bedrooms and kitchen with everything you could need plus some supplies such as tea, coffee & a few treats. Comfortable living room and excellent outdoor lounge area (perfect for smoker in our group). Bathroom is small and there is no laundry facilities.

Summary: Beautiful and large apartment with direct sea view. The apartment is large and very well equipped. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. The location is suitable for ventures in the northern area of Vancouver Island, a drive to Victoria takes about 3 hours. Summary: The host was kind, very friendly and so accommodating. We were impressed with little extras that she provided from snacks & games to toiletries. The suite was large and always cool for hot days . Loved the walking trails , local pub food and and coffee shop close by. A quick drive in to Courtney and Comox. A great place for a family too!

Summary: We came to Royston looking for a quiet retreat, beautiful scenery and great food. That’s exactly what we got. Alison and Frank were great hosts and the place was very comfortable. The beds were amazing and we both slept extremely well. It’s close to all the urban amenities of Courtenay, shopping, restaurants etc. but has the peace, quiet and charm of a rural town. It is also close to many attractions. We’ve decided that we prefer a stand alone rental, not a duplex. Having the hosts living right above you means that there is a bit of normal household noise. It’s not a big problem, just a minor distraction. It would never prevent us from coming again. All in all, we have no problem heartily recommending this place to anyone wanting to visit Vancouver Island.
