Summary: I came to Westport to see if it's a place I would want to live in, and I found a great place to stay while I was checking out the area. Not only is the town and surrounding area a wonderful combination of country and suburban city comfort, the cottage we stayed at was very sweet and charming, built in 1790! The owners are warm and friendly and very accommodating and helpful to any needs or questions you may have. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Jennifer & Lorenzo!!

Summary: My wife and I stayed for almost 2 weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was cozy and comfortable and met all of our needs. Lorenzo and Lorenzo are wonderful hosts!

Summary: Property nice just needed more guidance on utilities - / whether bedding was or should be washed?? wifi didn’t work and dishwasher but owners kept saying the previous renters figured it out - wifi given was wrong - dishwasher tried to be used by us and previous renters but owners never took off packing so did not work and previous renters left food in dishwasher and dirty cookware in cupboards . Nice place but definitely needed more directions given/ printed, since owners did not give introductory tour

Summary: The 1790 cottage is charming, convenient, and fully equipped for a long or short stay. Lorenzo and Jennifer are excellent hosts, responsive and helpful. Their warmth pervades the atmosphere in their lovely home. We will be back!

Summary: I stayed here for a week over the Thanksgiving holiday. It suited my needs perfectly. It was much better than staying in a hotel as there was so much more space. It is not a free standing cottage as I expected, but more like a wing of the owner's house. It has a totally separate entrance so there is still plenty of privacy. The owners are very nice.

Summary: The cottage is beautifully restored, nicely decorated, and a clean and comfortable place to stay. It has a lovely garden and deck, and an expansive yard. It is a short drive to Westport and Weston, and a few miles from the beach. Although our activities were limited by the current pandemic, the cottage and town provided a change of scene and a comfortable place to relax.

Summary: Historic cottage built in 1790, the decor was fabulous and made it feel very warm and inviting with a beautiful deck and a nice view. It also has very good book selection and Delicious wine on hand. The owners were wonderful, very friendly and kind and the property was very close to the ocean and had a ton of fun activities and attractions nearby. The beds were very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be coming back.
