The Fourth Street House house was built in 1948, and has recently undergone a renovation that includes the kitchen and both bathrooms, the hardwood floors refinished, and the house furnished with all new furniture. The dining room has French doors that open out onto the back porch that has a beautiful view of Downtown Maysville. There is a master bedroom on the main floor, along with a full bathroom. The two additional bedrooms are upstairs, with a second full bath.
The Fourth Street House is part of Maysville's Historic Downtown and it's Entertainment and Dining District. It's within eyesight of The Underground Railroad Museum and across the street from old haunted Hayswood Hospital.

Summary: The hosts were top notch and the home was exceptionally clean! It has everything you need, and so spacious! We spent several days here with family and the memories we made were wonderful. Summary: We were a group of three women in the area for a horse show. Love renting a home vs staying in a hotel, and this house did not disappoint! Absolutely stunning views, and the house was beyond charming. Everything you need (except for a hair dryer, which I donated to the house!). Home has been lovingly restored but retains it's history and richness. A perfect get away!

Summary: We are a group of three ladies who came to Maysville to visit The Kentucky Gateway Museum and attend a local play. The house was just perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom with comfortable beds with fresh linens. The sparkling clean bathrooms were large with all new fixtures and linens. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The owner provided a welcome cake (delicious) and coffee for the coffee maker. The TV worked without any remote control confusion and we could stream shows easily. The location was ideal for visiting historic attractions with plenty of restaurants close by. If it hadn't been so chilly we could have walked wherever we wanted to go. The owner was friendly and very responsive. Honestly, I can't think of a negative thing to say. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the back deck with the stunning view of Maysville.

Summary: What a wonderful stay. The owner provided excellent communication and made sure we had everything we needed for an easy seamless arrival. We pulled up to a warm cozy entrance with a wreath on the door. When we walked in, we were greeted with a freshly baked cake. The home was newly updated and stocked with all the necessities of home and the modern conveniences you would hope to find. The owner was very friendly and eager to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one. We definitely will make this our first choice for lodging if we find ourselves in the area again.
