Summary: A wonderful place to relax! Great host who spoilt us with homemade shortbread on arrival. Very homely, warm and comfortable place to stay. Beds were lovely to sleep in, we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a lovely weekend, we will definitely be back someday!

Summary: We enjoyed a weekend break at Cate’s house. It’s a few kms out of Bendigo and comes complete with hens and a fishpond. Cate is very friendly and welcoming host and made us feel at home straightaway. She left fresh eggs and bacon and baked a delicious date loaf. The house is very comfortable and well appointed with comfortable living inside and out, spacious bedrooms, a gorgeous bathroom and a farm-style kitchen. The only drawback is that it’s quite close to the road so there is some traffic noise but this quietens down at night and didn’t both us or our friends who stayed with us. There is a good general store and tavern just a few minutes down the road. This is a lovely country getaway and we recommend this, and Cate as a super-host!

Summary: A lovely, spacious and clean place close to Bendigo. This house is very well equipped. It had everything our family needed (including 2 TV's!) for our 3-night stay, and it was obvious that the owner had made a big effort to make sure that we were comfortable.

Summary: Loved the whole stay, enjoyed everything cate had provided for me and my daughter loved the biking and basketball. The host is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever spent time chatting with. Her house was absolutely beautiful and the cleanliness was superb, definitely highly recommend and will definitely rebook.

Summary: Cate has provided a beautiful home that feels like home. A cool respite from the heat with a relaxing and cool garden and lovely touches throughout - I cannot recommend this place enough. It fitted our needs perfectly.
