Summary: We really enjoyed staying at this house. It is in the country, surrounded by farms and horses, but with a view of the sea in the distance and a very short drive to Barneville-Carteret and the dunes of Hatainville. The house is very cozy with lovely decor and bedding. We used the woodburner quite a bit as it was starting to get chilly during our stay. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Our host, Beatrice, was tres gentille. This is a great place to stay during a visit to the Cotentin peninsula.

Summary: This property is an absolute delight as is, Beatrice and her family. Stylish, get away from it all, but so relaxing. One of our favourite holiday returns. Thank you so much.

Summary: This was a perfect place for our family's stay. As described, there was lots of space--each of the bedrooms is quite large. The quality of the bed and bedding was excellent. The kitchen is completely functional. Note that the two bathrooms are both on the ground floor, though all of the bedrooms except one are upstairs. This is a bit quirky, having to do with how the home was renovated, but not really a problem for us. Kitchen and bathrooms seem to have been recently renovated--everything was spotless. There is a large yard both in front and behind the house that would be wonderful for kids or in nice weather for relaxation. A note on the location. As can be seen from the map, the house is not in a town, and the closest commerce is about 10 minutes drive away. The tradeoff is complete tranquility--it was easy with the drapes closed to sleep late with absolutely no noise from the outside. We would not hesitate to return, with an even larger family group. This was one of the nicest rentals with have been in. Thank you.
